Agios Georgios (Pagon) Beach and Afionas – Porto Timoni from Prinilas (View point on Google Maps)

Corfu has two beaches called Agios Georgios. One in the northwest (this) called Agios Georgios Pagon because of nearby Pagoi Village and one in the south called Agios Georgios Argiradon due to the nearby village of Argyrades.

Agios Georgios Pagon is a sandy beach, ideal for couples and safe for families with young children. The waters are very clear and shallow. There is also a lifeguard. Left and right the beach is framed by mountains, making the landscape very pleasant. Good place to enjoy the sunset. There are no big hotels. Not too crowded even in high season. Many water sports facilities also you can rent a boat to visit the beautiful beach Porto Timoni or the nearby uninhabited islands and you can even take diving lessons. Sun loungers and parasols are available at pretty much every taverna that lines the beach. No charge, just buy food or drink. Free parking near the beach.
