There are two places called Agios Stefanos in Corfu. Agios Stefanos (West) is called Agios Stefanos Avliotes, in order to avoid the confusion between the two Agios Stefanos villages. The other Agios Stefanos (East) called Agios Stefanos Sinies.

Agios Stefanos (West) (Greek: Άγιος Στέφανος) was originally a fishing village located on the north west coast of Corfu island. It has a safe harbor, where the four Diapontia Islands can be seen. Fishing is still a very important part of the local economy. Plenty of taverns and restaurants and live music in some bars. Free car park.
The beach at Agios Stefanos (West) is a long sandy beach, great for families or couples, with a variety of water sports available. Naturist section at the far end so families better to stay where the sun loungers are. Shallow water, Ideal for all bathers including young children and not very confident swimmers. Loungers are between 7-8€ although some are offered for free by restaurants if you eat or drink there. On windy days there are good waves. The landscape near the mountains is very beautiful and worth a visit.
